SET Ventures and Eneco invest in GreenFlux

We advised SET Ventures and Eneco with their investment in GreenFlux, as part of a total Series B round of EUR 11M. Existing shareholders Brabantse Ontwikkelingsmaatschappij (BOM) and ICT Group N.V. also participated in the round. GreenFlux provides an electric mobility infrastructure management platform that supports the operations of charge point operators all over the world.

Series A Financing Round VarmX

VarmX, the Leiden based biotech company focusing on the development of therapies in the field of hemostasis and thrombosis, has closed a series A financing round of € 7.5 million. The round was led by the existing shareholder BioGeneration Ventures (BGV) and regional economic development company InnovationQuarter (IQ) also invested. Uniiq also became shareholder through conversion of its start-up loan to the company. The equity financing is supplemented by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) with an innovation credit of € 5.0 million supplementing the financing to a total of € 12.5 million. The series A round is a follow up to the initial seed financing in June 2017 by BGV and IQ. We advised BGV and IQ.

KLA-Tencor, SET Ventures, Munich Venture Partners and PMV invest in Luxexcel

We advised Luxexcel and its existing investors SET Ventures, Munich Venture Partners and Flemish regional investment fund PMV in their follow-on investment in Luxexcel, the only company in the world which can 3D print lenses. The financing round for an aggregate amount of up to US$10 million, was led by USA based KLA-Tencor Corporation, which participated in this round both financially as well as through in-kind industrial cooperation with Luxexcel.

NPM Capital invests in online supermarket Picnic

We advised NPM Capital on its investment in Picnic, an online supermarket operating in Dutch cities including Utrecht, Amersfoort and Almere. It recently announced that it will soon also begin serving Delft, Leidschendam, Voorburg, Nootdorp, Ede and Veenendaal. Picnic has grown at an explosive pace since it was launched eighteen months ago. Picnic is receiving 100 million euros of additional capital from four Dutch private equity firms. In addition to NPM Capital, private equity firms De Hoge Dennen, Hoyberg and Finci are participating in the investment. The joint investment will enable Picnic to realize its ambitious growth plans.
