NIBC has taken a 30% stake in FinTech company Flinqer, a platform for cashflow management and dynamic discounting. This investment expands NIBC’s range of solutions for entrepreneurs. The investment also enables Flinqer to finance its ambitious growth plans. We advised Flinqer in connection with this transaction.

We advised NPM Capital on its investment in Picnic, an online supermarket operating in Dutch cities including Utrecht, Amersfoort and Almere. It recently announced that it will soon also begin serving Delft, Leidschendam, Voorburg, Nootdorp, Ede and Veenendaal. Picnic has grown at an explosive pace since it was launched eighteen months ago. Picnic is receiving 100 million euros of additional capital from four Dutch private equity firms. In addition to NPM Capital, private equity firms De Hoge Dennen, Hoyberg and Finci are participating in the investment. The joint investment will enable Picnic to realize its ambitious growth plans.

We advised SET Ventures with its investment in Elmodis, an industrial internet of things start-up based in Poland. SET Ventures invested US$ 4.9 million together with Intel Capital and Innovation Nest. Elmodis provides an integrated hardware and cloud based software solution that monitors the performance of industrial machines powered by electric motors in real time.

We advised the parties involved with the investment by SET Ventures and henQ in Energyworx. Energyworx develops a SaaS-based platform for energy data management and energy intelligence solutions that help utility companies navigate and monetize the energy transition.

We advised BOM Capital with its investment in Holland Venture, an investment fund focusing on promising Dutch companies operating in the Healthcare and Technology sectors.

We advised Prime Ventures on its investment, together with Rocket Internet, in DealerDirect, the online marketplace for second-hand vehicles in Europe. DealerDirect, which operates under the brands www.ikwilvanmijnautoaf.nl in the Netherlands and Belgium and www.ichwillmeinautoloswerden.de in Germany, will use the proceeds for further geographic expansion in Europe.

We advised Gilde Healthcare Partners in the Series B financing of NightBalance. The round was led by INKEF Capital and Gilde. NightBalance developed and introduced the Sleep Position Trainer to prevent positional obstructive sleep apnea. The Series B financing allows NightBalance to intensify and expand commercial efforts in Europe and prepare for the company’s entry into the US market.

We advised on the transaction whereby NPM Capital provided growth financing through an equity investment in TIIC, a leading success creator for IT vendors and their channel partners. TICC helps vendors with their channel strategy and execution by creating proven programs for lead generation, sales and operational efficiency. Likewise, TICC is a trusted partner for many IT-companies worldwide on service development, sales strategy, lead generation and training programs that boost their success.

We advised Prime Ventures, DFJ & Esprit and ING Corporate Investments Participaties on the series C equity financing round of Bright Computing. Bright Computing provides comprehensive software solutions for deploying and managing clusters of servers.

We advised SaaSplaza, the leading global cloud services for Microsoft Dynamics partner, as borrower on the venture debt provided by Harbert Fund, an independent investment firm.
